Gardai have been given three further days to question a 29-year old about the murder of a bread man in Limerick last Monday.

Daniel Treacy was shot three times in the head as he delivered bread to the Topaz filling station on the Ennis Road at around 6am.

The suspect was arrested on Monday evening – a second man arrested has been released without charge.
