Gardaí are appealing to motorists in Dublin City Centre to abide by the new 30 kilometre per hour speed limit.

There’s been much criticism of the limit, which was introduced in areas around the City Centre this week.

The AA, Business groups, Taxi drivers and motorists have all come out against the limit, which is the equivalent to just over 18 miles an hour.
