Four unions representing teachers say they will review a work-to-rule by members over the coming weeks with a view to increasing the industrial action.
The action by teachers affects parent-teacher meetings and staff meetings after school hours and the taking-on of additional responsibilities and duties.
More than 300,000 civil servants began a work-to-rule campaign today in protest over cuts to their pay.
Public sector unions are warning the dispute could escalate if the Government does not reverse the pay cuts imposed in the budget.
