The construction sector whimpered its way out of a poorly-performing 2010.
That is according to the Construction Purchasing Managers Index for December from Ulster Bank.
It shows that weak client confidence coupled with the cold snap we endured last month led to the 4th consecutive month of decline in the sector.
Economists say there were steep jobs cuts in the industry in December and the immediate future is not looking too bright.
