On the Right Hook this evening, Diarmuid Hegarty President of Griffith College joined George in studio to discuss a new initiative from the government, third level institutions and technology companies, which is aimed at bridging the gap that currently exists in the Irish information technology sector.
Currently I.T. companies are unable to find suitable skilled candidates here for a range of jobs and this new scheme will allow people to upskill so that they meet the criteria for these positions.
Griffith College have 50 places on offer in this initiative. If you wish to apply for the ICT course at Griffith College send your applications to admissions@gcd.ie. You can telephone 01 415 0488 or alternatively log on to www.bluebrick.ie.
