Photos of Breastfeeding… would you consider them to be graphic sexual content or pornographic? Social networking site Facebook has a no-nudity policy and says some breastfeeding pics step over the line and has removed photos and even deleted accounts of some breastfeeding mothers in Ireland. In response to this, a peaceful protest will be carried out next Monday at the Facebook Headquarters in Hanover Quay in Dublin.
Laura Griffin of Friends of Breastfeeding in Ireland spoke to Tom this morning… as well as caller Caoimhe who believes breastfeeding is an emotive issue for all Mums. She goes on to say that the HSE says we should breastfeed and she refuses to go to the toilet when out of the house to feed her child.
