The body of the last crewman from the stricken trawler the Tit Bonhomme has been removed from the sea and brought to Cork University Hospital.
The body of Saied Aly-Eldin was brought ashore to Union Hall to a temporary mortuary where his father visited and had some time with his son’s remains.
Around 60 members of the Egyptian community along with locals gathered at the quayside and prayers were said.
The 5 men drowned when the Tit Bonhomme sank on January 15th.
On Wednesday the body of the skipper of the boat Michael Hayes was recovered.
The bodies of crewmen Kevin Kershaw, Attia Shaban and Wael Mohammed were found in the days following the sinking.
The search operation has now been stood down.
