A man in 40s is expected to appear before a sitting of Bray District Court tomorrow afternoon charged in relation to the murder of a Wicklow man in 2009.
Stephen O’Meara’s remains were discovered in a shallow grave in an isolated wooded area at Ballydonnell, Redcross, on Christmas Eve of 2009.
The 26-year-old father of three was from Rosehill in Wicklow town had been missing for nearly five months before his body was found.
He was last seen on August 6 2009 when he went out to meet someone.
A post mortem indicated he had died from a number of gunshot wounds.
