Ryanair is cutting 5 routes out of Edinburgh Airport.
The no-frills airline says the move could cost 300 jobs.
It follows a breakdown in negotiations with operators BAA over the cost of using the airport.
Ryanair had wanted a reduction in charges.
The routes going are Edinburgh to Ibiza, Berlin, Tallinn, Murcia and Malmo.
Airport operator BAA is stressing there will be “few, if any job losses”.
