Examinations are being carried out in Co Carlow where the bodies of two men were found this morning.
The remains of the men – aged in their 60s and 70s – were discovered on neighbouring farms near Bagenalstown.
Gardai are examining the possibility that the two men may have been involved in a family dispute.
Trade unions are this evening vowing to try and scupper the Government’s plans to raise three billion euro from state assets.
