Two Romanian nationals have been remanded in custody over the death of Oughterard publican John Kenny
The man and youth are charged with manslaughter and withholding information in connection to the incident.
36-year-old Marian Lingurar with an address in Cork and a 17-year-old boy who cannot be named appeared before a special sitting of Galway District Court.
56-year-old John Kenny was found dead with his hands tied behind his back at his pub in Main Street in Oughterard on September 25th last year.
The 36-year-old man has now been remanded in custody to appear before Harristown District Court next Friday.
The youth was remanded to appear before Galway District Court next Wednesday.
Both were refused bail.
