Magda – not her real name – has given an interview to a Polish newspaper in which she says living in Ireland on social welfare is akin to a ‘Hawaiian massage’. The article is outlined in this morning’s Irish Independent. Magda says she earns €67 a week more than when she was working and €182 more than if she was on the dole in her native Poland.
