If you were listening to the show on Tuesday you’ll have heard about the miniature cows roaming the Kerry countryside. Almost extinct in the 1970s, the Dexter breed of cattle were saved by a group of Irish farmers and are now being bred for gourmet burgers for supply around the country. At 9.50am this morning, Dexter beef farmer Paddy Fenton will speak to Newstalk Breakfast about the breed and the burgers!
