Scientists with super powers

This week on Futureproof, we’ll be catching up with Professor Kevin Warwick from the University of Reading.  Known to the media as Captain Cyborg, he is the first person to interface his body with a computer allowing him to control artificial limbs across the internet using the muscles in his left arm.  He is now planning a direct brain implant to allow him to communicate with systems using just his thoughts.  This week, he’ll be telling us about his team of researchers who are modifying their own bodies to allow them to see in infrared, or add the power of sight to their own fingers.  Hear about Captain Cyborg’s incredible work on Futureproof, this Saturday at 6pm on Newstalk.
