Ireland’s main street have changed forever, unique small family businesses are one by one closing their doors, replaced by UK high street chains. Because of high rents and increased council rates, small niches businesses are being forced out. Are we nostalgic for an old Ireland which is going forever or is it progress.
Henry McKean spoke the older generation of shoppers, a struggling DIY store and to the Dolls Store and Dolls Hospital and Teddy Bear Clinic who are closing their doors after and 80 year history.
