Cork .I.T beat UCD at Belfield in last nights Fitzgibbon cup round robin section match, 1-17 to 15 points the final score.

Colin Fennelly scored 1-1 for the Cork side while Rebels panellist David Drake and Tommy Quaid of Limerick landed 4 and 5  each, Paudie O’Sullivan also got in on the scoring act getting 3 points from play while Jamie Coughlan and Padraig Gould landed 4 points between them.

Tipps Noel Mc Grath scored 11 points for the Dunblin team, 10 were from placed balls. After the game Kilkenny forward Colin Fennelly spoke to Oisin Langan.
