Poland sets up Irish Village for Euro 2012

Poland is pulling out all the stops for Irish fans ahead of our Euro 2012 group matches.

Thousands of rooms are on offer at hotels as well as campsites and there will be plenty of transport between venues.

Tourist authorities from the Central European country have been outlining what football fans can see and do when they travel there in June.

The credit union loans have been applied for and the internet has been a-buzz with people looking to find out how much it will cost them to head to Poland and Ireland’s Euro 2012 group matches.

Polish tourist officials have been outlining what is in store for fans when they arrive in Posnan and Gdansk in June.

60,000 hotel rooms are on offer for fans as well as plenty of campsites if they are on a tight budget.

Poland has updated its motorway network making it easier to get to venues and there are plenty of new buses and trams to travel on.

And they are setting up an Irish Village.
