The Taoiseach is set to unveil the newest member of the Fine Gael team on the plinth of Leinster House.
It is understood the new recruit is Independent Senator, Olympian and world champion athlete Eamonn Coghlan.
He was nominated to the Seanad by the Taoiseach just under a year ago.
