Apprenticeships are set to give people a "strong, alternative pathway" to employment.
It is part of a campaign by Education Minister Jan O'Sullivan to highlight the work being done in her department.
The #5Days5Ways strategy will focus on investment in schools buildings and greater staffing levels, among others.
The campaign will also highlight five key areas which are seeing education reform.
These include investment in better school buildings, the first improvements to literacy and numeracy levels for more than 30 years, a better start for pre-school children and more staff in schools.
Labour says it is investing more than €450m in school infrastructure this year alone.
The party says this will deliver 27,800 permanent school places, of which 23,700 are additional places.
Ms O'Sullivan says apprenticeships will also give people new career options.
And she told Newstalk Breakfast they have already got the backing of employers for this.
