The Agriculture Minister will meet farmers today in a renewed effort to end the row over beef prices.
29 meat factories were blockaded by the IFA on Monday - aimed at highlighting what they say is a substantial shortfall in prices between here and the UK.
Representatives from the beef industry say the action was "misguided" - and caused losses of between 10 and 15 million euro.
