The Arthur Guinness Projects scheme saw artists and organisations campaigning for Diageo funding. Although it was criticsed by some as exploitative marketing, hundreds of different projects were submitted for the competition.

Aerial Dance Creation Centre - a project to build a dedicated centre for circus and aerial dance.
Man on Bridge - interactive documentary about Arthur Fields
Our Nation's Sons - collection of large portraits to be displayed around the country
The Lifeline Project - effort to regenerate Midland Great Western Railway into a 'living laboratory'
Food
Foodcloud - app to help redistribute food surplus to community organisations
Gaelic Escargot - Irish farm breeding edible snails
Grow HQ - GIY (grow it yourself) training and showcase centre
The Green Kitchen - regeneration of derelict building in Walkinstown, with a focus on establishing a community café
Music
Goldenplec - music website and community
Popical Island - musical collective looking to relocate HQ, including space to hold small gigs
Voices of Hope - choir for those with or affected by Parkinson's
Sports
Accessing the Ocean - water and surf therapies for young people facing physical, mental, emotional or behavioural challenges
Breast Cancer Fitness - 'dragon boat team' for women diagnosed with breast cancer
Club Colours - website helping small sports clubs sell and distribute merchandise
