Limerick City and County Council says it's satisfied an oil spill there is being contained with no negative impact on public water supplies.
A clean-up operation on a piece of land at Tornafulla where 1,800 litres of the fuel spread is continuing this afternoon.
Environmental specialists remain at the scene.

Once completed, the Council says it will continue to monitor nearby watercourses.
