The Banking Inquiry has agreed to redact a controversial phrase from the evidence of developer Johnny Ronan.
It has agreed to take the phrase 'Arbeit macht frei' out of his written statement published last week.
It follows a written request from Mr Ronan, who apologised at the weekend for using the phrase which appeared at the entrance to Nazi concentration camps.

The inquiry says it doesn't usually agree to redact statements, but will do so in this case as the controversial phrase has "no evidential value".
