In the North, detectives investigating the murder of Basil McAfee in north Belfast have arrested a man.

The body of Mr McAfee (50) was discovered in the living room of his home in Henderson Avenue on December 20th, 2013.

He was the victim of an attack involving an axe and a knife.

The suspect (39) was detained in the north of the city this morning.

He is being questioned at a Belfast police station.

This is the fourth arrest so far in the investigation.
