British pub chain Wetherspoon's opened its first Irish pub in Blackrock, Co Dublin, earlier this morning.

The chain announced last week that it would not be serving any Guinness in the pub after they could not come to an agreement with Diageo over a low price point to reflect the chain's cheap prices. 

However, local Blackrock pub 'Conway's', has decided to get one up on the British super-pub and offer an even more enticing deal to its loyal customers.

Anyone who visits Conways pub tonight and asks, "Do you serve Guinness?", will receive a free pint of the black stuff.
