A Loyalist blogger has told the Public Accounts Committee he will not supply written evidence about the sale of NAMA's Northern Ireland loans - unless he also gets the chance to speak in person.

Jamie Bryson has told TDs that his evidence must be seen in context, and that he would have to give evidence in person in order to explain it.

Mr Bryson was previously invited to give evidence to the PAC. However the invitation was later withdrawn, and he was asked to send written evidence instead.

He has written back this evening saying that the best way to address his allegations, about the alleged benefactors of money diverted to an offshore account, is for him to be questioned in person.

Stormont's Finance Committee has been investigating alleged irregularities around the sale of the Project Eagle loans worth around €1.4bn.

Mr Bryson told the Committee last month he had seen paperwork identifying five people who were earmarked to benefit from stg£7m left in an account in the Isle of Man.
