A new report shows housing is the main block to addressing the problem of homelessness across Ireland, with long social housing waiting lists cited as a particular issue.
That's according to the Simon Community, which is set to launch a new report in Waterford later this morning.
The group is calling on the government to introduce a ‘housing-led’ approach to tackle the issue.
The organisation says there are over 89,000 households on the social housing waiting list across Ireland.
