Updated at 12.01pm: There's been a happy ending!
It's every festival-goer's worst nightmare.
After months of anticipation, weeks of excitement, days of preparation and hours of packing, all your efforts are undone in the blink of an eye – when your beloved backpack is accidentally taken off the bus, just hours before your trip to Stradbally, by someone who has mistaken it for their own.
That's exactly what happened to Rachel Collins, who was travelling on the No 7 bus at 9.15am today when the mix-up occurred on O'Connell Street.
Fortunately, however, this is 2014 – and when something like this happens, there's always Twitter to give you some feeling of hope. The below tweet has already hit 100 retweets, and counting.
But as the nation roots for Rachel, the question is: do you think you can help?
Twitter, HELP! A lady called Yumiko took my @EPfestival rucksack off No7 @dublinbusnews at 9.15am. This is her bag pic.twitter.com/UE6ZwEipnJ

UPDATE: We're starting to get a hint of romcom from all this:
Hi @AerLingus - do you have a direct # I can call pls? Need to catch someone on flight EI552
