This Wednesday, November 25th is the last day to register to vote in the upcoming general election.
The Taoiseach Enda Kenny has confirmed the election will be early next Spring.
The Department of the Environment is asking people to check and make sure their name is there.
The website, checktheregister.ie, includes all the latest and updated information.
You can use this portal to make sure you are registered - but also to make sure your details are correct.
If not, people are being asked to make the correction by getting forms from their relevant local authority.
Also those who are turning 18 before February 15th next year can also be on the register.
