Chelsea are close to the completion of two signings.
Former Champions league winner with Barcelona and Inter Milan forward Samuel Eto'o is about to make the switch from Anhzi while FC Porto winger Christin Atsu is in advanced talks with the club.
Reports emanating from Russia claim Eto'o has already said goodbye to his Anzhi team-mates.
Meanwhile, Atsu's potential move is an interesting prospect.
The highly-rated Ghana international who is still only 21, made his Porto debut under Andre Villas Boas two years ago and made 17 appearances for the club last season.
He is yet another winger brought in by Chelsea this summer as competition for places in the trio for places hotting up and becoming potentially unsustainable.
