The low cost Icelandic airline WOW begins its new service from Dublin to Reykjavik today with onward flights from the Icelandic capital to Boston and Washington in the US
The three-times-weekly service claims to be the first low-cost transatlantic service from Ireland, though you will have to wait for up to three hours in Reykjavik if you’re making the onward trip.
Wow Air was founded by the Icelandic telecoms entrepreneur, Skuli Morgensen in 2011 and is expected to fly 800,000 passengers this year.
