Today's opening day at Cheltenham saw three Irish winners take the spoils.
Jezki took the Champion Hurdle, while Vautour and Quevega won in the Supreme Novices' Chase and Mare's Hurdle respectively.
Racing pundit Donn McClean is at the festival and joined us on the line to review today's performances and also touched on the sad news that Our Conor had to be put down after a fall.
With the first day's action out of the way, Donn then looked ahead to Day Two which has a few interesting races for punters.
The RSA Steeple Chase
Donn is looking towards 7/1 Morning Assembly as a potential winner of the 2.05 start.
The BetVictor Queen Mother Champion Steeple Chase
Donn believes the ground will not help Sire De Grugy or Arvika Ligeonierre tomorrow. But he feels the conditions will suit Irish runner Baily Green who is progressing this year and also thinks Kid Cassidy could be a real threat.
