Attackers are said to have hit the Badr and al-Hashoosh mosques, which are believed to be mainly used by supporters of the Houthi rebel group in the country.

Yesterday it was reported that the country's president Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi was evacuated after his palace was targeted by airstrikes.

Aden International Airport in Yemen was also forced to close yesterday after clashes left at least 13 people dead, Al Jazeera reported.
