A new Dublin venue has decided to adopt a unique way of hiring staff.

Forget the typical CVs and cover letters - Sober Lane is looking to hire 20 staff via 'SnapChat'.

Some 800 people have already applied.

The bar is looking to hire between 15 to 20 staff for their new bar in Irishtown, beside the Aviva Stadium in the city.

The photo messaging app allows users to take photos and record videos. These are then sent to other users for only a certain period of time, ranging from 1 to 10 seconds.

The owner of Sober Lane, Ernest Cantolin, explains why they took this approach and what type of 'applications' they have got so far.
