Plane enthusiasts at an air show in Lincolnshire, UK got a little more than they bargaines for when they had to take cover as an F16 fighter jet came in to land at shockingly low-level.

Footage posted on social media shows the Turkish Air Force plane roaring less than 10ft over the heads of those gathered near the start of the runway at RAF Waddington.

One spectator at the Waddington Air Show commented: “That was a bit close, wasn’t it?” We tend to agree.
