Fianna Fail unchanged, Sinn Fein down two points in latest poll

The latest political opinion poll is likely to cause a headache for Fianna Fail.

Support for the party remains unchanged on 19 per cent in the Sunday Independent's Millward Brown poll.

It comes just a week after Eamon O'Cuiv, the grandson of Fianna Fail founding member Eamon De Valera, said the party was facing demise if they continued to poll at less than 20 per cent.

However, Sinn Féin are the biggest losers, with support for the party is down 2 points to 24.

Labour's popularity is on the rise, up 2 to 8 per cent, while Fine Gael are unchanged on 25 per cent, meaning they are once more the most popular political party.

Meanwhile Lucinda Creighton's new 'Renua' party is on just 2 per cent support.
