The French President will visit Ireland next year.
Francois Hollande will arrive to participate in the Battle of the Somme commemorations.
The announcement has been tweeted by the Irish Embassy in Paris.

The Taoiseach is meeting President Hollande today, with the refugee crisis, EU-UK relations, Greece and Climate Change on the agenda.
