Germany are into the World Cup semi-finals.
A clever first half header from centre-back Mats Hummels was enough for the three-time champions to beat France 1 - 0 in their quarter-final clash in Rio de Janeiro.
Hummels headed home a free-kick from Toni Kroos in the 13th minute and were able to comfortably hold off a strangely subdued French side.

France striker Karim Benzema had a couple of chances to score for his side - forcing a glorious save from German keeper Manuel Neuer in the dying seconds at the Maracana.
