Why do South American countries shout 'Gooalll' when a team scores? Where did the phrase come from? does it date back before we had TV and people used to listen on the radio and might be in another room and missed it or is it because south American's are passionate about football and life?

I spoke to football experts, South Americans and an Irishman who married a Brazilian to find out?
