HSE hopes that free GP care for under sixes will be running by mid-2015

It's hoped that free GP care for the under sixes will be up and running by the second quarter of 2015.

The HSE has announced its spending plans for the next 12 months today, and says they're in talks with Doctors over the issue.

The government has set aside €35m to fund the initative, however there have been a number of delays.
