The partner of journalist Ian Bailey has told the High Court that life with Mr Bailey was "not a bed of roses" when she took to the stand today.

Mr Bailey is suing for damages over his arrest in the Sophie Toscan du Plantier investigation.

He says he was wrongly arrested on suspicion of the murder of the French woman in west Cork in 1996.
