Profile
Honduras might have finished bottom of the group in their last World Cup but they did not disgrace themselves per se.
Although they did not score a single goal in a group featuring Spain, Chile and Switzerland, they only conceded three times in three games.
The English-based contingent - Stoke's Wilson Palacios, Wigan's Roger Espinoza and Hull City's Maynor Figueroa - are cornerstones of the team which finished third in the CONCACAF qualifying group. However they only won a single away game in five attempts and conceded 12 in 10 matches.
The Old Firm is also represented in the shape of Emilio Izaguirre (Celtic) and Arnold Peralta (Rangers).
However a group including France, Ecuador and Switzerland, while tough, is not insurmountable for a country making its second consecutive World Cup.
