Three investigations are underway into the circumstances surrounding the death of a prisoner in Dublin's Clover Hill Prison last night.
Marius Sarzynski - who had been charged with murdering his wife - was found slumped in his cell at around 10:30pm on Tuesday night.
It is understood that foul play is not suspected in his death.
The 37-year-old received hospital treatment for a broken hip last week after jumping out the window of a courthouse in Navan, and it has been reported he was on suicide watch.
Gardaí are investigating the death and there will also be investigations by the Prison Service and the Inspector of Prisons.
