Ireland's women have created history as they won their first ever Six Nations Grand Slam title.

The team already had the championship wrapped up beforehand but were chasing that elusive achievement.

Niamh Briggs scored two penalties to see Ireland over the line in horendous conditions as they hung on to beat Italy 6 - 3 in Milan.
