Like dogs? Love dogs who help people? Then you'll want to be in Cork in two weeks' time.
On Saturday August 29th, the Irish Guide Dogs national dog training centre in Cork will open its doors to the public for its annual open day.
It will run from 12pm to 4pm.
"The day is a great opportunity to meet and interact with puppies in training and working dogs, such as Guide Dogs for people who are visually impaired and Assistance Dogs for children with autism", the group says.

It will also give the general public a real insight into the workings of the centre and the work the working dogs do.
There will be dog parades and a puppy Olympics, a farmer's market, craft fair, food stalls, bouncy castles, face painting and lots of other entertainment.
There will also be Guide Dog and Assistance Dog guided walks.
