Some of the best known Irish politicians have been soaked as part of a group Ice Bucket Challenge in Dublin.

TDs Roisin Shortall, Caoimhghin O'Caolain, Mary Mitchell O'Connor and Richard Boyd Barrett along with MEP Mairead McGuinness took part in the event at Trinity College.

They were joined by members of the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association, which is nominating the Taoiseach Enda Kenny for the challenge.
