The jury in the Graham Dwyer trial has finished its second day of deliberations without reaching a verdict. The jurors spent almost five hours of deliberating today.

Earlier, the jury asked to view certain exhibits as they resumed their deliberations.

The architect from Kerrymount Close, Foxrock is accused of killing Elaine O'Hara. He denies stabbing the childcare worker to death at Killakee in August 2012.

The jury resumed its deliberations at 11.04 this morning having spent nearly one and half hours considering a verdict yesterday.

They have asked to view exhibits including knives recovered from the basement of Graham Dwyer's workplace A&D Wejchert's, knives found in Vartry reservoir, a rucksack, a runner and a spade.

The foreman of the jury also gave Mr Justice Tony Hunt a note asking 'should my name have appeared in the paper?'

The judge said he will get back to him on that.
