There is good news for Lego this morning from the European Court of Justice.

The court has thrown out a challenge from a rival company, which wanted to stop Lego from getting legal protection for the shape of its figurines.

The challenge had stopped Lego from being able to register the shape as a trademark.

It had temporarily allowed other companies to make knock-off versions.

But this ruling means Lego will be the only company allowed to manufacture the well-known figurines with rounded heads.
