Leinster CEO Mick Dawson has confirmed that the province have offered Jonny Sexton a four-year deal to return to the province.
It has been reported that the Ireland and Lions out-half has already agreed a contract that will see him rejoin Leinster at the end of this coming season and Dawson has now confirmed that he and the IRFU chief executive Philip Browne met with the out-half to make him an offer.
According to the Irish Independent, Dawson added that they are "waiting on his decision" which could be known in the next two weeks.
Dawson was speaking at the announcement of Bank of Ireland’s renewed sponsorship of Leinster with a new 5-year-deal signed.
