Politicians from North and South of the border will meet at Dublin Castle today to discuss the best way to manage the legacy of the Troubles.

The peace process is back in the media spotlight after the death last week of DUP founder Dr Ian Paisley. His family will gather for his funeral later.

Mr Paisley, who died on Friday at the age of 88, requested the ceremony and burial be private.

The Reconciliation Forum today will also hear from the Foreign Affairs Minister Charlie Flanagan as it tries to identify ways to combat sectarianism.

Speaking to Newstalk's Marc Coleman Show, the Democratic Unionist Party MP for the Lagan Valley, Jeffrey Donaldson, admitted that the Northern Ireland parliament is struggling.
